Retro Gym Club is bringing back 80s aerobics

Because it’s about time. Literally. How great was that decade? The music, the fashion, the rise of feminism and the fall of the Berlin Wall... Everyone was too busy enjoying life to document it on social media. This is a club that brings our favourite elements of the 80s together while having a damn good time doing it.

Join us every Thursdays for a 1 hour workout to 80s bangers and yes... working out in your 80s leotard is encouraged. From warm up to cool down, it’s about leaving your 21st century troubles at the door and stepping back in time to find a new you.

When’s the next class?

As the saying goes, we’re taking a little space from the pace and putting this beloved club on ice…. just for now. Don’t worry though. We’ve got plans. Big plans. And we’ll be back in a few months’ time bigger, better, and sweatier than ever. Where are we based?

We’re based in Ōtautahi, Christchurch, in the Pioneer Centre: 75 Lyttelton Street, Somerfield. There’s HEAPS of parking and when you arrive, simply head to reception and the lovely staff will point you in the director of where you need to go (or you can follow the group of people is lycra)!

What to book us for your next team event or party?

We’ll bring the games, the moves and the music! Book us for your next team event, hens do or party because exercise lifts everyone’s spirits. We’ll even bring themed accessories and our famous glitter wall for your perfect team glamour shot. Check out the details here for more info!
